Bardo is a young airbender. Although he had to keep his bending a secret, he's still very good. He looks to fool around with his sister. He's very chill and has a fun personalty. Since he only lives with his sister and needs to feed her, he git a job as a store clerk. He can also be a major drama queen at times, and his sister makes fun of him for it.

Story: Amala's great-great-grandfather was one of the few survivoirs of the Air Nomad Genocide. Being only a teenager at the time, he had not yet earned his tatoos. He figured the safest place for him to go would be the Fire Nation. He married a non-bender, and their child was also a non-bender. The line continues for a long time, with no airbenders. Amala's mother, Ming, also a non-bender, had no idea her great-grandfather had been an airbender. When she discovered that Amala (3 years old at the time), and Amala's older brother, Bardo Citta (6 years old at the time), are airbenders, she takes them to the Western Air Temple and pleads with them to take her children and teach them proper airbending. The elders did not believe the two kids were actually airbenders and refused to admit them into their temple. Ming decided her next best option would be to move her family to Republic City, where a multicultural family would be accepted, however, her husband refused to leave the Fire Nation and claimed he wanted nothing to do with these airbender kids. Enraged by this, Ming moved to Republic City without her husband. 7 years later, Ming dies of a stroke. This was not all that much of a surprise to Bardo and Amala, though, as her health had been no good ever since they first moved to Republic City. Amala and Bardo continue on with their lives, completely unshaken by this event.
